BCC elects Chair, Vice-Chair for 2024

The Pinellas County Board of County Commissioners on Tuesday elected commissioners Kathleen Peters as Chair and Brian Scott as Vice-Chair for 2024.

Peters is the current Vice-Chair and represents single-member District 6. She was elected to the Board in 2018 and re-elected in 2022. Scott represents at-large District 2 and was elected countywide in 2022.

The Chair leads meetings and work sessions, represents the Board at community events, coordinates commissioner board assignments, and more.
