Unified Personnel System Board
The Personnel Board is the final authority in personnel policy and actions for offices, agencies and employees of the Board of County Commissioners, as well as the Clerk of the Circuit Court, Property Appraiser, Tax Collector and Supervisor of Elections.
The Personnel Board, part of the Unified Personnel System, was established in 1975 by a special legislative act of the Florida Legislature (Personnel Act). Meetings are held at 6:30 p.m. on the first Thursday of each month. Results for each meeting are posted after Board approval.
This seven-member board includes two members appointed by the Board of County Commissioners, two members appointed by the Constitutional Officers of the County, two members appointed by the Employees’ Advisory Council (EAC), and one appointed by the other Personnel Board members. Board members serve two year overlapping terms.
