Annual Beach Parking Pass
Annual beach parking passes are valid at Fort De Soto Park, Sand Key Park, and Fred Howard Park Beach. Vehicle state and tag number must be provided. Passes can be purchased and renewed at explore.pinellas.gov, by phone at 727-582-2100 (Option 2), and in person at the Parks and Conservation Resources Administrative Office, 12520 Ulmerton Road.
Passes are valid for one year from the date of purchase and discounted passes for eligible residents and visitors are available. Documents required to qualify for discounts must be uploaded or provided in person at the time of registration.
Annual Beach Parking Pass Fees
- Annual Pass: $75 plus tax. Total Base Rate: $80.25
- Limit of two vehicles per applicant.
- Senior Citizens (65+): $55 plus tax. Total Base Rate: $58.85
- A photocopy of a valid driver’s license is required.
- Limit of two vehicles per applicant.
- Military: $55 plus tax. Total Base Rate: $58.85
- Acceptable documentation includes DD214 discharge papers showing honorable or general discharge, or a valid Military ID (DD Form 2, DD Form 1173, DD Form 11731, or DD Form 2765). All IDs must be valid, and the person presenting the ID must be the applicant. Individuals with DOD civilian retiree cards and their beneficiaries do not qualify.

- Limited Income Rate: $37.50 plus tax. Total Base Rate: $40.13
- Proof of participation in an income assistance program (such as an EBT card) or proof of a limited income senior property tax exemption is required.
- Limit one vehicle per applicant.
- Disabled U.S. Veterans: Free.
- Applicants must present a DVA letter verifying service-related disability percentage and a DD214 or a driver’s license with a DV designation. Must provide state and tag number at time of registration.
- Limit one vehicle per applicant.
Fees for Six-Month Beach Parking Passes
Six-month Beach Pass: $45 plus tax. Total Base Rate: $48.15
- Seniors (65+): $30 plus tax. Total Base Rate: $32.10
- Military: $30 plus tax. Total Base Rate: $32.10
Annual Boat Ramp and Beach Parking Pass
Annual boat ramp and beach parking passes are valid for vehicle parking at all county park boat ramps and the three standalone ramps: Sutherland Bayou, Belleair Causeway, and Park Boulevard. Boat ramp parking passes also include vehicle beach parking (without a trailer) at Fort De Soto Park, Sand Key Park, and Fred Howard Park Beach. Passes are valid for one year from the date of purchase.

- Seniors (65+): $55 plus tax. Total Base Rate: $58.85
- Disabled U.S. Veterans: Free
How to Get a Parking Pass
Annual beach and boat passes may be purchased or renewed:

- In Person: Payments is accepted by cash, credit card (Visa, MasterCard, Discover, American Express), and by check or money order payable to Pinellas County BOCC. Visit the Parks and Conservation Resources Administrative Office at 12520 Ulmerton Road, Largo, FL 33774, Monday – Friday, 8:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m.
Please note:
- Effective May 2026, we will no longer accept checks submitted by mail.
- A non-refundable convenience fee (2.9%) applies to card payments and is displayed as a “processing fee” in the shopping cart. This fee is not based on a card type and applies equally to all card transactions. Fee-free payment options are available by paying cash or check in person at our administrative office.
