Annual Beach Parking Permit

Mobile parking technology has replaced hand-to-hand cash payment transactions at the front entrance booth of Fort De Soto Park. Our annual beach parking includes vehicle parking at Fort De Soto’s beach area, Sand Key Park, and Fred Howard Park. You can also buy a six-month pass.

  • An annual beach parking pass is $75. We offer discounted passes for seniors, those with limited income, active and former military, and disabled vets.

Discounted Annual Beach Parking Passes

  • An annual pass for people aged 65 and older is $55. We need a photocopy of your valid driver’s license to issue the pass.
  • An annual pass for people with limited incomes is $37.50. Limit of one vehicle entry per household. Show us proof that you’re in an income-assistance program (an EBT card, for example) or that you’re receiving a limited income senior property tax exemption.
  • An annual pass for current and former members of the military is $55. We’ll need a copy of your DD-214 military discharge papers with an honorable or general discharge indicated or a valid Military ID card including DD Form 2, DD Form 1173, DD Form 1173-1 or DD Form 2765. All IDs must be valid and person presenting identification card must be person requesting discount.Civilians with a DOD civilian retiree care or their beneficiaries do not qualify for our discount program.
  • Annual beach parking permits are free to disabled U.S. veterans. To qualify, you must show us a letter from the DVA verifying your percentage of service-related disability and a DD-214 card or DV designation on a state driver’s license. The pass is limited to one per applicant. Limit of one vehicle entry per military applicant.

Six-Month Beach Parking Permit

  • A six-month beach parking pass is $45. Parking passes for those 65 or older, or a current or former member of the military, is $30. You must provide a photocopy of your valid driver’s license to qualify for the senior discount. To qualify for the military discount, you must show either your DD-214 military discharge papers with an honorable or general discharge indicated, or a valid military ID card Including DD Form 2, DD Form 1173, DD Form 1173-1 or DD Form 2765.
  • The discount program does not extend to civilians holding a DOD civilian retiree card or beneficiaries.
  • All IDs must be current and the person presenting identification card must be the one requesting the discount.

Annual Boat Ramp and Beach Parking Pass

Annual boat ramp and beach parking passes are valid for vehicle parking at all boat ramps in county parks and the three stand-alone boat ramps – Sutherland Bayou, Belleair and Park Boulevard. The passes are also valid for parking vehicles with boat trailers at all ramps listed below and vehicle beach parking without a trailer at Fort De Soto Park, Sand Key Park, and Howard Park Beach.

Fees for Annual Boat Ramp Parking Passes

  • The fee for an annual pass is $110.
  • The fee for an annual pass for seniors aged 65 and older is $55. You must provide us with a photocopy of your valid driver’s license.
  • There is no fee for a pass for disabled U.S. veterans. Limit One Per Military Applicant You must present an official letter from the DVA verifying a service-related disability percentage and a DD-214 card or DV designation on a state driver’s licenses

Annual beach and boat pass sales and renewals are available online and by mail, email and telephone. You can also trade volunteer hours for a free parking permit.

  • You can scan and email the completed application to pcrannualpass@pinellas.gov. Please include a daytime phone number so we may contact you for payment.
  • You can renew over the phone by calling (727) 582-2100.
  • You can pay by check, money order or credit card (Visa or MasterCard). If your check is returned for insufficient funds, you will be charged a $30 returned check fee in addition to the permit fee. Please do not send cash through the mail.
  • You can earn two parking passes for every 12-month period by volunteering with the Parks & Conservation Resources Department. A beach parking pass requires 100 hours of volunteer work. A boat ramp and beach permit requires 125 hours of volunteer service.
