Youth Advisory Committee
This committee advises the BCC on issues affecting local youth, assigns members to appropriate county boards and committees, participates in public education and ceremonies and assists with county programming.
Committee consists of up to 25 members in grades 9-12 appointed by the BCC after submitting an application.

All citizens appointed by the Pinellas County Board of County Commissioners or an individual commissioner to any county board, committee, council, or authority must comply with these standards of conduct.

To allow students the opportunity to explore Pinellas County, government meeting locations will vary month to month. Interested youth and their parents are welcome to sit in on a general session meeting. Please let us know you will be attending a meeting by sending us an email, so we can welcome you properly.
The committee provides regular reports and updates to the Board of County Commissioners at their monthly night meeting. In addition, the committee plans and participates in several community service projects throughout the year.
