Child Support Legal Clinic – Free Public Event
May 8, 2025, 4:00 pm - 7:00 pm

The Pinellas County Clerk of the Circuit Court and Comptroller is pleased to announce an informative Child Support Legal Clinic, open to the public. The clinic is intended for anyone seeking to initiate, modify, enforce, comply with, or obtain general information about an existing or potential child support obligation.
An expert panel comprised of Sixth Judicial Circuit Family Division Judge Frederick Pollack and Child Support Hearing Officer Joseph Flannery, as well as representatives from the State of Florida Office of Attorney General and Department of Revenue (DOR) will speak on various child support matters from 4:00 PM-4:45 PM and again from 5:30 PM-6:15 PM in the Jury Assembly Room.
Pro bono attorneys will also be available from 4:00 PM-7:00 PM to consult participants on any procedural or legal questions they may have about their existing child support cases or to initiate a new child support action. Clerk Civil Child Support team members will be on hand to facilitate referencing specific case information and child support payment histories and to provide Self-Help forms packets for purchase.
“We understand the importance of making child support matters easier to navigate for families in our community, and we are happy to help,” says Ken Burke, Clerk of the Circuit Court and Comptroller. “In addition to hosting this clinic, we remain available to provide support services year-round.”
