Household Hazardous Waste Collection Event – Hosted by the City of St. Petersburg
March 7, 2026, 9:00 am - 2:00 pm
The City of St. Petersburg is hosting a household hazardous waste collection event on Saturday, March 7, from 9 a.m. – 2 p.m. at St. Petersburg College – Gibbs Campus (6605 5th Ave. N) to give residents the opportunity to dispose of hazardous household products that should not be placed in normal trash collection.
This event is available for all Pinellas County residents.
The City will collect items that pose a fire hazard or environmental concern if disposed of in regular household trash. Accepted items include:
- Antifreeze
- Gas
- Household chemicals
- Oil
- Lawn and garden chemicals
- Mercury-containing devices
- Paint products
- Pool/spa products
- Rechargeable batteries
- Signal flares
