OFR Committee Stakeholder Engagement

The Pinellas County Human Services Department and its Overdose Fatality Review Committee (Pinellas County Safety and Emergency Services, District Six Medical Examiner’s Office, Florida Department of Health in Pinellas County, and Operation PAR) invite you to attend its 2nd community stakeholder engagement as part of its Overdose Fatality Review Process.
This is an open meeting where both local and statewide stakeholders are invited to participate in this prevention and intervention focused engagement to support those at risk of drug overdose death. This engagement will use a person-centered, recovery-oriented, and public health approach to recommend strategies that will prevent future drug overdose deaths and improve recovery-outcomes for those with opioid, stimulant and other substance use conditions.
Attendance by the following stakeholders is encouraged so please forward this invitation: Child Welfare, Substance Use/Mental Health Treatment, Law Enforcement, Corrections, Recovery Communities, Public Health, Healthcare Providers, Payors of Health Care, Education/Research, Hospitals and Medical Personnel, Epidemiologists, Faith-based Organizations, Recovery Organizations with Lived/Living Expertise, Advocates, Legal, and other entities who are interested or capable of informing opportunities to prevent drug use, overdose, or poisonings.
