Spring Cleaning for Household Chemicals

It’s spring cleaning time! You can drop off household chemicals, including gasoline, oil, paint, fluorescent bulbs and rechargeable batteries, for free through the Household Hazardous Waste (HHW) program. Quantity limits apply. Do it now before the start of hurricane season on June 1 to avoid waiting in long lines right before a storm!
You can drop off household chemicals at the HHW Center, located at 2855 109th Ave. N., St. Petersburg, which is open select days from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m., and HHW North, located at 29582 U.S. 19 N, Clearwater, which is open select Saturdays from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.
