Drug Abuse Trust Fund Grant applications sought
Pinellas County is accepting applications for funding through the Drug Abuse Trust Fund Grant, which totals $35,000 for the upcoming 2024-2025 fiscal year.
Applicants must be nonprofit organizations that provide alcohol and/or drug use treatment and/or prevention programs with at least one client-accessible office or service location in Pinellas County. To be eligible for an award, an organization must be licensed as a substance abuse treatment provider under Chapter 397 of the Florida Statutes. Applications are due by Wednesday, Aug. 21, at 4 p.m.
Alcohol and Drug Abuse Trust Fund Grants must be used for one-time-only, non-recurring expenditures such as equipment, special projects, training, renovations and/or formalized prevention activities. Awards cannot be used for food and beverage reimbursements.
Awards will range from $1,000 to $10,000, and the awarded funds must be expended by Sept. 30, 2025. For more information on this grant opportunity, please visit pinellas.gov/humanservices.
