Vacancies announced on Parks and Conservation Resources Advisory Board

Applications are being accepted to fill two vacancies on the Parks and Conservation Resources Advisory Board, requiring professional experience in environmental science and/or policy. These appointments are for two-year terms, beginning on Aug. 1, 2024.

The Advisory Board acts in an advisory capacity to the Board of County Commissioners, County Administrator, and Parks and Conservation Resources Department.  Duties of the Advisory Board include, but are not limited to, reviewing parks or environmental lands plans; participation in public education and ceremonial activities; taking citizen comment on parks or environmental lands; formulation of proposals to improve parks and environmental lands.
