Verizon cellphone customers can now call 9-1-1

Pinellas County Regional 9-1-1 is again available to receive emergency calls from Verizon users after a regional outage. Verizon informed Pinellas County staff that the network issue is resolved, and cellphone customers can now dial 9-1-1 regardless of the carrier they use.
