Pinellas County Human Services Social Action Funding

Social Action Grants are available to qualified non-profit social service organizations desiring to provide services to homeless and low-income residents of Pinellas County to address their health, economic and social well-being. Pinellas County Human Services administers a competitive, online application process for Social Action Funding through the Neighborly Software. The grant solicitation is posted on the Human Services website, and a standard application form is used to promote effective review and scoring.
The County funding priorities for Social Action Grants are food/nutritional services, homeless prevention and supportive services, healthcare and human services for disadvantaged residents and supportive services for an aging population. Organizations were eligible to apply for funding between $10,000 and $150,000.
