Apply for a Grease Management Program Permit for Food Service Establishments
The Pinellas County Code, Article VI, requires Food Service Establishments (FSE) discharging to a Wastewater Treatment Facility operated by Pinellas County Utilities to obtain an annual permit.
Grease Management Program personnel perform inspections at FSE’s to ensure compliance with the Pinellas County Code and to confirm Fats, Oils, and Grease (FOG) control devices are properly cleaned/pumped to keep FOG out of the sanitary sewer system.
To request a Food Service Establishment Permit Application, please contact Pinellas County Utilities at UTLGMP@pinellas.gov. The annual user fee associated with your FOG Control Device permit will be $270.00. Once approved, the food service establishment will either be mailed an invoice for the annual permit fee, or it will be added to the associated Pinellas County Utilities account.
