Zero Suicide Partners of Pinellas
Zero Suicide Partners of Pinellas was formed as a result of a collective impact project of the Pinellas Behavioral Health System of Care workgroup. This group was formed to ensure that mental health and substance abuse services are well coordinated throughout the Pinellas County, Florida community. Based on the international Zero Suicide Framework model, 29 participating organizations collaborated to develop a suicide prevention care pathways, choose the appropriate screenings and assessment models and safety planning processes. The partners worked together to build these into each partner’s electronic health records to promote a seamless workflow for our providers. We then joined forces to ensure that all the agencies had access to trainings and support.
