Heritage Village 50th Anniversary: From Dedication to Designation

Join Pinellas County for a milestone 50th Anniversary celebration! The community is invited to witness the historic transition of the Plant–Sumner House and The House of Seven Gables from museum exhibits to protected local landmarks.
The “Dedication to Designation” ceremony honors five decades of historical stewardship. The event begins at 11 a.m. with special addresses from Board of County Commissioners Vice Chair Chris Latvala and Historic Preservation Board Chairman Brian Scott, who will reflect on the structures’ 50-year journey.
