Project Overview
This project is to ensure reliable wastewater service for customers in north Pinellas County by replacing the existing approximately 2,450 feet of 6-inch wastewater force main along Kernwood Ct. with a new 8-inch force main starting at Pump Station 415 up to Lansbrook Pkwy Road. Additionally, a new 8-inch force main is being installed at Pump Station 323 location near Alderman Road most of which is within the Pump Station 323 property.
Replacing Aging Infrastructure
Pinellas County is continuing to invest in infrastructure to meet the community’s current and future needs. Upgrading aging infrastructure is essential for maintaining reliable service.

Funding
This project is funded by Pinellas County’s Sewer Renewal & Replacement Fund.
Anticipated Project Timeline
- Design and permitting are expected to be completed by late 2025.
- Construction is scheduled to take place from Summer 2026 to Summer 2027.
