Utilities rates to increase Oct. 1

In 2023 the Board of County Commissioners approved incremental rate increases over a four-year period. Beginning Oct. 1, 2026, Pinellas County Utilities water, sewer, reclaimed water customers will see the fourth year of these updated rates and user fees.

Pinellas County Utilities bills bimonthly. Base rates covers fixed system costs to keep water and sewer services running at all times, even when no water is used. Usage rates are a variable charge that ensures you only pay for what you actually use.

Certain user fees may also change pending final Board approval. View these fees, wholesale rates and other base rates (dependent on the size of your meter) at Pinellas.gov/utilities-rates.
