Prescription Drug Discount Program
As a joint initiative between Pinellas County and the National Association of Counties (NACo), county residents can benefit from the NACo Prescription Drug Discount Program. All county residents, regardless of income, are eligible for this program. Even if you have prescription coverage, residents can still benefit from the discount card on prescriptions their existing plan does not cover. There is no limit to the number of times a card can be used and there are no claims forms to fill out and no membership fees for participation. Discounts can apply to the whole family, including eligible prescriptions written by a veterinarian for household pets.
To access the program, residents can quickly obtain a card and present the card at independently owned pharmacies and most major pharmacy locations such as CVS, Walgreens, Walmart, Target, and Publix with their prescription. Residents can obtain cards at various locations throughout the County, including Human Services and
Pinellas County Health Department sites.
Residents can also print their card directly online, search for participating pharmacies, and look up drug pricing at: www.nacorx.org
