Project Overview

The existing sewer main located between 96th Place and Marla Lane from the Pinellas Trail east to Ridge Road has reached the end of it’s expected lifespan. This project will use open trench construction to replace approximately 1,400 feet of the current 8-inch diameter clay pipe with 10-inch diameter PVC. This new line will also be relocated from the rear of the adjacent properties to run beneath 96th Place.

Project Goals

  • Replace aging sanitary sewer force main
  • Reduce risk of sanitary sewer main breaks and wastewater discharge
  • Improve public safety and ease of access during maintenance
