Project Overview
The existing sewer main running below Duhme Road from American Legion Drive to 53rd Avenue North is nearing the end of its expected lifespan. This project will use a combination of open trench construction and subsurface directional drilling to replace approximately 3,800 feet of the current 24-inch diameter pipe with 20-inch diameter PVC.
Project Goals
- Replace aging sanitary sewer force main
- Ensure continuity of sewer service and reduce the risk service interruptions or wastewater spills
- Improve public safety

This project is located on Duhme road from the intersection with American Legion Drive to 53rd Avenue North.
Project Funding
This project is funded through Pinellas County’s Sewer Renewal and Replacement Fund.
