Project Overview

This project involves the upgrading of a water main system in Largo. This will include the replacement of aging and deteriorating water piping within the County, including galvanized pipes, cast iron pipes, and substandard PVC piping. Approximately 7,200 linear feet of new 2-inch and 6-inch water mains will be installed using PVC or high-density polyethylene (HDPE) materials. The upgrade will also include the installation of new fire hydrants for public safety, replacement of existing service connections, and the addition of valves, fittings, blow-offs, and other necessary water main construction.
