Project Update
Temporary restoration work at the Madeira Beach Access parking lot (14400 Gulf Blvd.) to allow a limited number of parking spaces, restrooms and the northern beach access to reopen is COMPLETE.
A permanent repair project to restore the sidewalk, sandwall, remaining parking spaces and other park amenities will follow in the near future. Thank you for your patience as we continue to recover from the hurricanes of 2024.
Project Overview
Pinellas County continues working to restore County amenities damaged during the 2024 hurricane season. Wave action from the storm surge undermined the parking lot area, leaving unsafe voids and craters in the parking lot and sidewalk.
