Speak up about how to use $813 million for storm recovery
Pinellas County has been awarded the largest federal hurricane recovery grant in Florida: more than $813 million. These Community Development Block Grant Disaster Recovery funds are intended to help people hit hardest by the 2024 storm season.
The County is developing programs to rebuild homes and businesses, help renters, restore infrastructure and make communities safer from future storms. Before that can happen, the County must finalize a plan that recognizes our communities’ biggest unmet needs.
