Contact Commissioner Eggers

Commissioner Eggers was elected to the Pinellas County Board of County Commissioners in November 2014 representing District four and all of Pinellas County.  On behalf of the residents of Pinellas County throughout his terms, he has focused on fiscal accountability, on economic development and expansion of new and emerging technological companies for more and improved job opportunities, on preserving commercial and industrial lands for business expansions, on stormwater and environmental enhancements and a substantive commitment to infrastructure investment in roads-bridges-water and sewer, both within the county and the region.  He has been firmly committed to working one on one with our residents, working on solving county wide problems and on working cooperatively with our cities and our neighboring counties.

He previously served as Mayor of Dunedin, elected in March 2009 and re-elected in 2012 after serving two terms as a Dunedin City Commissioner.  Throughout his time as Mayor and County Commissioner he has continued his focus on working for our Veterans by serving on the Community Veterans Engagement Board at the VA and in championing the Purple Heart Designations in Dunedin (first of its kind in Florida) and in Pinellas County.  While in Dunedin he established the Youth Advisory Committee, the Social Services Committee and the Public Safety Committee all of which he continues to support to this day.
