Civic Season Youth 250 Event at Heritage Village
June 27, 2026, 12:00 pm - 2:00 pm
Celebrate Civic Season with A Slice of History—a relaxed and inspiring gathering designed especially for young adults who want to connect, learn, and reflect on the power of place and community. Enjoy an evening filled with good food, great company, and meaningful conversation as we share pizza and stories that bridge the past, present, and future of Pinellas County.
This event invites participants to explore the newly reopened Roy Helms Gallery, a space that celebrates 50 years of Heritage Village’s history and its evolving role as a community hub for preservation, dialogue, and discovery. Guests will have the opportunity to engage with interactive displays, local artifacts, and thought-provoking exhibits that highlight how everyday people have shaped our shared civic story.
In addition to casual networking and gallery exploration, we’ll take a moment to look ahead—reflecting together on what the next 50 years might hold for our community and how each of us can play a role in shaping its future. Whether you’re a history enthusiast, creative thinker, or simply curious about the roots of local identity, A Slice of History offers a welcoming space to celebrate civic engagement, community connection, and the stories that bring us together
