Pinellas County Consumer Protection is celebrating Identity Theft Awareness Week (January 29th-February 3rd). Identity Theft Awareness Week is a coordinated campaign among federal, state, and local agencies to promote consumers’ rights and protections against fraud, scams, and Identity theft. In recognition, Consumer Protection is offering free events during the week, including presentations and information tables, where consumers can get free resources and speak with an investigator.
