Identity Theft Awareness Week 2024

Pinellas County Consumer Protection is celebrating Identity Theft Awareness Week (January 29th-February 3rd).  Identity Theft Awareness Week is a coordinated campaign among federal, state, and local agencies to promote consumers’ rights and protections against fraud, scams, and Identity theft. In recognition, Consumer Protection is offering free events during the week, including presentations and information tables, where consumers can get free resources and speak with an investigator. We’ll wrap up the week with a free shredding event.

Consumer Protection Investigator will be available to answer questions and provide free resources on consumer topics.
