Here’s how to dispose of your Christmas tree

Pinellas County residents can find out how to dispose of their Christmas trees by using the Where Does It Go? Search Tool at pinellas.gov/where. The searchable online database includes Christmas tree collection and drop-off information for all municipalities and unincorporated areas of Pinellas County. Once on the site, select “For Homes” and click the picture of a Christmas tree to find reuse and disposal options. Residents must remove all decorations and lights before tree pickup or drop-off.
Many local governments in Pinellas County offer programs that repurpose Christmas trees into mulch, giving them a second life and helping to conserve our limited landfill space.
