Pinellas County Government offices to close for Christmas

Pinellas County Government offices will be closed beginning at noon Tuesday, Dec. 24, through Wednesday, Dec. 25, in observance of Christmas. This includes departments under the Board of County Commissioners, Clerk’s Office, Tax Collector, Property Appraiser and Supervisor of Elections.

Parks & Conservation Resources

• The Parks administrative office, Heritage Village and Education Centers will be closed.
• Fred Howard Park causeway and beach area, along with Indian Rocks Beach Access and Madeira Beach access, are temporarily closed to  due to storm damage.

Park-Specific Updates

• Fort De Soto Park: The campground’s Area 3 electric service has been repaired and is open. East Beach has reopened, while areas north of park headquarters remain closed.
• Indian Shores (Tiki Gardens) Beach Access: Scheduled to reopen on Saturday, Dec. 21.
• Lake Seminole Park: Scheduled to reopen Saturday, Dec. 28.
• Sand Key Park: Scheduled to reopen onSaturday, Dec. 21.

Animal Services shelter

The offices and adoption center at Pinellas County Animal Services will be closed.

Building and Development Review Services

Pinellas County Building Services offices will be closed, and inspections will not take place.

Contractor Licensing

The Pinellas County Contractor Licensing office and the Pinellas County Construction Licensing Board will be closed.

County Information Center

The County Information Center will be open from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. on Tuesday and closed on Wednesday.

Disaster Recovery Center

The Disaster Recovery Center at the Enoch D. Davis Center in St. Petersburg will be closed all of Tuesday and Wednesday.

Human Services

Pinellas County Human Services offices will be closed.

Sixth Judicial Circuit courts

The courts of the Sixth Judicial Circuit (Pinellas and Pasco) will not be in session except for first-appearance advisory hearings and emergency situations.

Solid Waste Disposal Complex

The Solid Waste Disposal Complex, including the Administration Building, Household Hazardous Waste (HHW) Center and Swap Shop, will be open on Tuesday but closed on Wednesday.

Utilities

The Business and Customer Services Call Center and the lobby at 14 S. Fort Harrison will be closed. Customers can make payments online and can reach the answering service at (727) 464-4000 for emergencies.

Normal County operating hours will resume on Thursday, Dec. 26.
