Project Overview
Pinellas County is developing a passive recreation area within the Brooker Creek Preserve. The proposed amenities will include a 25-space parking lot, prefabricated restroom facility, picnic shelter, two fishing/wildlife observation platforms and a new sidewalk to a canoe/kayak launching area. The purchase of the Four Lakes Hammock Recreation Area was acquired with partial funding from the Florida Communities Trust Fund Florida Forever Land acquisition grant.

Community Outreach
Pinellas County held a Project Information meeting on May 23, 2024, from 6-7 p.m., at the Brooker Creek Preserve Education Center, 3940 Keystone Road in Tarpon Springs to review the proposed improvements and answer questions from the community.
