The contractor for the project is scheduled to begin working on Indian Rocks Road on Tuesday, Sept. 2, 2025. Survey teams are currently working along the corridor. Please pay attention for changing traffic patterns.
All project updates...Project Overview
The project consists of filling in the gaps in the sidewalk with new ADA-accessible sections and expanding the roadway shoulder in places along the east side of Indian Rocks Road, from Kent Drive to 8th Avenue SW. Stormwater management and drainage will be improved and the corrugated metal drainage pipes on the west side of Indian Rocks Road, between Oakwood Drive and Gulfview Drive, will be replaced.
In addition, new storm-resistant traffic signal mast arms are planned to be installed at the intersection of Indian Rocks Road and 8th Avenue SW.
