Project Overview
The original weir structure for Lake Seminole was irreparably damaged during Hurricane Helene in September 2024. This event significantly reduced the water level in Lake Seminole. Pinellas County started the emergency repair in October 2024 using temporary steel sheet piles to restore the lake’s function while a permanent solution was designed and implemented.
