Project Overview
Pinellas County is rehabilitating the existing fishing pier and Education Center boardwalk within Weedon Island Preserve as part of the countywide annual boardwalk, fishing pier and observation tower improvements contract. The contractor will rehabilitate the fishing pier, along with portions of the existing boardwalk facilities.
Construction activities will be completed in phases, beginning with the closed fishing pier, and coordinated with Parks and Conservation Resources staff to reduce impacts to the public.
