Pinellas County monitors surface water quality to provide long-term assessments of water quality, measure success of management efforts and meet regulatory program requirements.
Pinellas County’s water quality dashboard provides visual results of local data by contributing area and a variety of parameters, including a tab for red tide sampling. Additionally, the data can be downloaded for independent analysis.
Environmental Management Division
Environmental Management, a division of Public Works, is responsible for monitoring and protecting Pinellas County's environmental resources. This division conducts proactive monitoring, responds to citizen inquiries and manages various projects and permits for the protection of our natural and built environmental resources.
