Blood Drives

Pinellas County employees are encouraged to save lives by donating blood. The number one reason donors give is because they want to help others.

Pinellas County Wellness staff work with OneBlood to bring the Big Red Bus for employee blood drives. Upcoming events are shown below. Walk-ins are welcome, or you can schedule an appointment.

You may donate blood during work time with prior approval from your supervisor if the location and timeframe are reasonable and do not interfere with the department’s ability to continue County services.
