GivePulse Volunteer Platform

Pinellas County Government’s Volunteers in Pinellas (VIP) Program is partnering with GivePulse, a volunteer management platform, to match volunteers with opportunities and track their hours.

What is changing?
Pinellas County is moving our volunteer system, called Volunteers in Pinellas (VIP) Management, to a new platform by GivePulse.

What is GivePulse?
GivePulse is a volunteer management platform used by over 30,000 organizations. GivePulse provides an easy one-stop shop to enter your hours, communicate with site coordinators, view milestone hours, and complete documents. Some departments will also use it for scheduling shift assignments.

Will my hours transfer over?
Yes. Your hours will automatically move from our current system to GivePulse. No action is needed on your end.

What should I do?
The process is easy! Once we transition to GivePulse, you will get an email invitation to claim (set up) your GivePulse account and complete a volunteer application. Then you’ll enter volunteer hours in the new system.

What resources are available?
We will provide step-by-step guides to claim your account, enter your hours, and register for volunteer opportunities.

Who do I contact for more information?
Please reach out to your volunteer site coordinator (login to SharePoint required) or contact Volunteer Services at volunteers@pinellas.gov or (727) 464-3367, option 2.
