Board of County Commissioners extend state of local emergency
Pinellas County response/action
- Board of County Commissioners voted Tuesday, Oct. 1, to extend state of local emergency for an additional seven days.
- Emergency Operations Center remains activated to coordinate countywide response and recovery activities following Hurricane Helene.
- While most County government offices remain closed to focus on hurricane response, a limited number of services are open, including:
- The Pinellas County Utilities Payment Center at 14 S. Ft. Harrison Ave., Clearwater, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
- The Pinellas County Solid Waste Disposal Complex at 3095 114th Ave. N., St. Petersburg, 6 a.m. to 6 p.m.
- Building and Development Review Services, 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.
- The Animal Services Adoption Center, 9:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.
