Comfort stations open around county

Comfort stations are available for residents who are displaced from their homes following hurricanes Milton and Helene. These stations provide a place for residents to cool off and charge their phones.

Indian Rocks Beach

• Kolb Park (across from Indian Rocks Beach City Hall), 1508 Bay Palm Blvd, Indian Rocks Beach open through Nov. 22

Madeira Beach

• Comfort Trailers – Open daily through Dec. 15:
  • Shower/laundry: Winn-Dixie parking lot at 15200 Municipal Drive – 7 a.m. to 8 p.m.
    • Rules: One washer/dryer per household. Bring supplies; only water provided. Supplies can be found at City Hall (300 Municipal Drive).
  • Restrooms: City Hall, 300 Municipal Drive – 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
