Project Overview
This project replaces the existing triple 48-inch concrete culverts crossing under Lake St. George Drive, between Longleaf Lane and Cloverplace Drive. The existing 48-inch culverts and end walls were damaged during the hurricanes of 2024.
The damaged pipes will be replaced with a new 10’ x 7’ concrete box culvert with headwalls. Minor upstream and downstream channel improvements will provide a hardened system that is less susceptible to impacts from extreme weather events. The project includes associated roadway, curb, sidewalk and driveway restoration. This is a Federal Highway Administration Emergency Relief Program project.

- Design: Summer 2026 – Fall 2027
- Construction: Spring 2028 – Late 2028
Community Outreach
A project information meeting is planned to be scheduled ahead of construction.

This project is supported by funding from the Federal Highway Administration and the Penny for Pinellas.
