Project Overview
This project replaces the existing double 72-inch concrete culverts crossing under Republic Drive, between Fairfield Ct and US Highway 19 N. The existing culverts and end walls were damaged during Hurricane Milton. The damaged pipes will be replaced in kind. The project will provide a hardened system that is less susceptible to impacts from future extreme weather events. The project includes associated roadway, curb, and sidewalk restoration.
This is a Federal Highway Administration Emergency Relief Program project.

- Design: Summer 2026 – Late 2026
- Construction: Spring 2027 – Summer 2028
Community Outreach
A project information meeting is planned to be scheduled ahead of construction.

This project is supported by a grant from the Federal Highway Administration, administered by the Florida Department of Transportation.
