Sawgrass Lake Park Boardwalk & Tower Rehabilitation

Project Overview

Pinellas County Parks and Conservation Resources and Public Works are undertaking a project to rehabilitate the existing boardwalk and tower within Sawgrass Lake Park as part of the Countywide Annual Boardwalk, Fishing Pier and Observation Tower Improvements contract.

The contractor, Bayshore Construction, Inc., will rehabilitate the existing boardwalk facilities. Construction activities will be completed in phases and coordinated with Parks and Conservation Resources staff to reduce the impact on visitors. Please follow any signage highlighting closed portions of the boardwalk.

Project Timeline

Phase A: July 2023 – December 2023
Phase B: January 2024 – May 2024
Phase C: June 2024 – September 2024
