Onsite Biometric Screenings

Complete your no-cost biometric screening at a convenient worksite. Quest providers will be onsite to draw blood and take body measurements (blood pressure, height, weight, and waist circumference). This is the same screening you get at a Direct-to-Quest Diagnostics® Patient Service Center, and you can schedule an appointment the same way.

What is the cost?

There is no cost to you; however, there is a cost to the County. If you cannot make your appointment, it is important to cancel it at least 48 hours prior.

How long does it take?

A biometric screening is typically completed in under 15 minutes.

What services are provided?

  • Blood pressure reading
  • Height, weight, and waist circumference measurements
  • Blood draw

When will I get my results?

After the screening, your results will be uploaded to the Quest website in 1 to 3 business days and mailed to your home in 2 to 3 weeks. The results will also auto populate into the Clinical Health Risk Assessment.

What does the onsite biometric clinic look like?

The clinic setup varies at each location; however, providers will set up a station for screenings, much like a vaccine clinic. If there are multiple screeners, the stations will be separated to ensure a comfortable experience.

Can I request additional bloodwork at the same time?

No. This event is for biometric screening only.

Do I need to fast before my appointment?

It is preferable but not required. Fasting for 8 to 12 hours before your appointment will ensure your blood test results are more accurate.

Do I need to use leave time?

In general, onsite wellness visits can be coordinated with your supervisor in advance to be done during work time if the location and timeframe are reasonable and do not interfere with the department’s ability to continue County services.

What if none of these locations work for me?

You can go to a Direct-to-Quest Diagnostics® Patient Service Center. See biometric screening for more information.
