Business & Customer Services bills and collects nearly $200 million in revenue annually for Pinellas County Utilities, water, sewer and reclaimed services. We also bill and collect the revenues for 11 municipal and two private agencies through inter-local agreements for their sewer, refuse, reclaimed water services, stormwater and utility tax.
In addition to customer contact, we also maintain account data, complete bi-monthly meter readings, report equipment failure or damage and resolve service problems for over 112,000 water meters. We also serve seven water and five sewer wholesale customers, as well as 121,000 retail customers for water, sewer, and reclaim fees.
