New Administrator

  • Effective August 1, 2026, new workers’ compensation claims will be handled by Commercial Risk Management.

  • Beginning September 1, all current workers’ compensation claims will be transitioned from Davies to Commercial Risk Management.

Pinellas County Risk Management is responsible for employees’ work-related injuries or illnesses, except for Clerk of the Circuit Court employees who should follow their department’s procedures.

Now Until July 31, 2026

  • A supervisor should immediately report all work-related injuries or illnesses to Davies at (877) 879-9296. This dedicated reporting line is available 24/7. In the event of an emergency, call 911, then call (877) 879-9296.
  • For regular follow-up regarding a claim once the first report of injury is completed, contact Davies at (800) 749-3044, Monday to Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Starting August 1, 2026

  • A supervisor should immediately report all work-related injuries or illnesses to Commercial Risk Management at (888) 369-7213. This dedicated reporting line is available 24/7. In the event of an emergency, call 911, then call (888) 369-7213.
  • For regular follow-up regarding a claim once the first report of injury is completed, contact Commercial Risk Management at (813) 789-3900, Monday to Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
