ID Badge Photo Requirements
Please note the following requirements when taking a photograph for your Pinellas County ID badge.
Photo Specifications
- In color
- Headshot (mid chest up)
- Indoors
- Recent photo (within the last 6 months)
- Plain light-color background
- Look directly at the camera
- Work-appropriate clothing
- No hat or head covering unless worn daily for a religious purposes
- No sunglasses; eyeglasses are fine if they allow a clear view of your eyes
How to Take the Photo
- Find a room with a plain, non-cluttered wall, turn on all the lights, stay away from windows to avoid shadows, and ask someone to take a close-up photo of you from the chest up.
- A smartphone photo is fine if it’s large (around 1 MB).
