Learning Plans
Program Update: July 2025
The Learning & Development team is enhancing our programs to serve employees’ needs better and align with our strategic goals. As part of this initiative, we will temporarily pause the launch of new Learning Plans.
For those with a Learning Plan in progress, these will continue as usual, allowing you to work towards your well-deserved certificate of completion. However, you may notice a few changes to workshops, including the introduction of self-paced and virtual instructor-led options to provide greater flexibility.
Learning Plans (formerly Learning Paths) are a framework of courses curated to meet the needs of employees at all levels. The Plans offer a unique opportunity to build knowledge, skills, and competencies.
How are the Learning Plans structured?
The plans offer a blend of in-person courses, virtual courses, and self-paced learning through ULearnIT (login to SharePoint required).
Each plan has 4 focus areas with 6 courses to earn a microcertification. Once you earn a microcertification for all 4 focus areas, you earn a Learning Plan Certificate.
What Learning Plans are available?
- Core (for all employees) – Focus areas: career development, core business skills, communication, and individual leadership.
- Emerging Leader (for those seeking to move into leadership) – Focus areas: individual effectiveness, leadership essentials, managing people, and business skills.
- Evolving Leader (for leaders at all levels) – Focus areas: change management, advanced leadership, managing performance, and organizational impact.
Why did Learning Paths change to Learning Plans?
To refocus the coursework, simplify the process, and differentiate the program from Career Paths.
