Leadership Development

The Boot Camp: Leadership Essentials program is being revamped. The new Pinellas County Leadership Academy program is coming soon!

Toastmasters Club

Practice your public speaking, develop leadership skills, and grow both personally and professionally. Pinellas County Toastmasters meets on Wednesdays from 1:00 – 2:00 p.m. in downtown Clearwater.

Pinellas County is proud to support a learning culture. The Learning & Development team promotes continuous learning and development to build skills and create pathways for advancement. Look for our learning resources and initiatives on the Learning & Development SharePoint (internal link for employees).

We offer blended learning with face-to-face and virtual classes on topics including interpersonal skills and Microsoft 365. Our online portal ULearnIT provides module coursework, instructional videos, and audio/digital books. We coordinate New Employee Orientation and leadership training. The Tuition Reimbursement Program offers reimbursement to employees taking courses on their own time.
