Education Fair

Join us at the Education Fair on June 17 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. in Largo. Meet with representatives from 14 schools to find a degree program or certificate just for you. No appointment needed — just stop by!

Toastmasters Club

Practice your public speaking, develop leadership skills, and grow both personally and professionally. Pinellas County Toastmasters (internal link) meets on Wednesdays from 1:00 – 2:00 p.m. in downtown Clearwater.

Pinellas County is proud to support a learning culture. The Learning & Development team promotes continuous learning and development to build skills and create pathways for advancement. Look for our learning resources and initiatives on the Learning & Development SharePoint (internal link).

We offer blended learning with face-to-face and virtual classes (internal link) on topics including interpersonal skills and Microsoft 365. Our online learning portal LinkedIn Learning (internal link) provides thousands of resources, available 24/7. We coordinate New Employee Orientation and leadership training. The Tuition Reimbursement Program offers reimbursement to employees taking courses on their own time.

MyLearning

  • MyLearning (internal link) is the Countywide learning management system to register for courses, explore learning resources, and view your learning history. Find learning opportunities, training records, skills, and certifications in a single location.
  • If you are not sure how to log in, see Login Instructions.
  • The easiest way to access the site is to go to the employee intranet, MyPinellas, and click MyLearning on the Quick Links menu at the top of the page.
  • Not sure where to begin? View the MyLearning FAQs for answers to all your questions.
  • Access the LinkedIn Learning online learning portal.
  • HR Learning & Development offers in-person and virtual courses that employees may attend during work hours with supervisor approval.
    • Our courses focus on personal development, career and professional development, and technical skills.
    • Topics include real skills (such as customer service and leadership), Microsoft 365 (such as Word, Excel, and Outlook), specialized business topics (such as retirement and project management), and much more.
  • Enroll for all courses in MyLearning. Look for course material links on the course page.
