Employee Relations
Employee Relations staff (Business Partners) offer confidential consultation and counseling to employees regarding conflict resolution, interpretation of rules and policies, mediation, discipline, grievances, performance management, and career development. Our Business Partners (login to SharePoint required) are assigned to specific County departments to match their needs with the services Human Resources offers now and in the future.
Conflict Resolution and Mediation
Neutral guidance and coaching to resolve conflicts
Resources
- Counseling – Assist with career development, performance, understanding County policies, etc.
- Employee Advocate – Assist with pre-disciplinary hearings and grievances
- Employee Assistance Program (EAP) – Short-term counseling at no cost
- Employees’ Advisory Council (EAC) – Group representing classified employees
- FACE of Performance – Performance management resources
Rules and Guidelines
- Employee Responsibilities – Attendance, dress code, ethics, computer use, arrest reporting, ID card, safety, etc.
- Personnel Rules / Policies and Procedures – Listing of County rules, policies, procedures and guidelines
