Tax Collector Offices Host Pet Supply Drive

Tax Collector offices are becoming pet supply collectors this month – gathering donations to support their annual charity – Suncoast Animal League – June 10 through 28. Employees and citizens are invited to participate by donating much-needed supplies from a curated wish list.

“We are always looking for ways to better serve our community both within our office and outside of it,” Tax Collector Charles W. Thomas said, “Our team has a particular soft spot for helping the furry citizens of Pinellas, so we are all very excited about this donation drive. The ultimate goal is to make Pinellas a better place to live for all – animals included.”

The following items are being accepted at Tax Collector offices during business hours through June 28:

• Kitten food – dry or cans, any brand
• Gerber baby food – chicken, turkey, beef, ham
• Slip leads – very particular kind: Slip Lead for Dogs – Dog.com – red or green only, 6 ft.
• Blue Dawn dish soap
• Garden hoses
• Full-sized bath towels – new or used
• Paper towels
• Drawstring heavy-duty garbage bags
• First class stamps
• White printer paper
• Ink cartridges: HP962, HP64, Canon 055
• Bottled water
